Baldor Motor Control is one of a nucleus of
Baldor products centered around motors. Baldor has been producing some
of the world's finest motors and motor products for close to 90 years.
The company was founded in 1920 by a master machinist and an electrical
engineer. Throughout its history the company has always stuck to the
basic idea of the better motor. This focus has carried it well through
adversities and challenges to the present. Along with this it has also
carried itself well with a loyalty to its workers. This commitment to

Baldor Motor Control Models Available
Baldor Motor Control devices include nine
models of AC drives.
Among these are two micro drives. There are two inverter drives, two
vector drives and two server drives; each having one which is a washdown
version. There is also a soft start model. In addition, Baldor offers
a selection of Baldor Motor Control servo drives. There are
seven of these, including the MotiFlex e100, which is for 3 phase
servo motor
control. Of the remaining six Baldor Motor Controls, there
are two micro versions, two flex versions, one specializing in Mint
language, and a final one dedicated to EuroCard format.
Baldor Motor Control Motors
Baldor Motor Controls are supported with the
lines of Baldor
motors they match to. Of course, many of the more or less standard
AC Motors,
DC Motors,
single and
three phase motors produced by Baldor are capable of matching up to the
motor control series.
Their servo motors are a well-tested and respectable
line with 27 years behind it. Its matchless performance is a result of
Baldor's focus on providing above-standard products. The line includes
a wide selection which includes both AC and DC versions. There are
three series of AC servo motors, including one with totally stainless steel
construction dedicated to food, beverage and pharmaceutical production
areas, as well as harsh, corrosive conditions.
An additional series is gearheads which fit up to the
servo lines of motors.
There is a DC line as well. Customizable options
for these include brakes, tachometers, shafts, encoders, mountings,
windings, connectors, windings, and environmental. Of course, there
are Baldor Motor Controls to run these.
An entire group of seven series of linear motors are
listed. These are a quite unique motor-in-a-line. They do not
rotate, but the coil travels along a line in response and coordination with
a stationary magnet track. They are used in servo applications
demanding smooth operation without cogs. The stroke is unlimited.
